Literature Text

On the night of my sixteenth birthday I was heading to the stream for water when I heard a noise. It was close. My instinct told me to run away but I was too curious to listen. I went as close I as dared to go to it. When I saw what had made the noise I froze in my spot. It was a human! The boy seemed to be around my age, he had dark brown hair and deep green eyes like the trees and those eyes were about to see me. I ran behind the nearest tree hopping he hadn't seen me. Just when I thought he didn't the boy started to head toward the tree. "Run!" I thought, "No, he's too close now. If I run he'll see me." I looked up, "The tree!" I scrambled up as fast as I could. As I climbed a strange thought hit me. When I saw the boy at first I felt fear but then I felt a strange feeling I had never felt before. I shook my head to dismiss the thought but it just wouldn't go away. I stopped about half way up the tree. I parted the branches and saw him walk away and I was filled with relief but then he stopped and turned around and started climbing. That relief was replaced with panic. I was trapped! I couldn't go any higher for the branches were too thin and if I climbed down he'd still see me. It only took him a few minutes to climb up to me but it felt like hours. Once he reached me the boy got his first good look at me. In a barely audible voice I heard him say, "Wow."
This is chapter 2 in my book. I may or may not do chapter 3 from the boy's piont of view. Comment and tell me if you think that it might be to confusing.

I like it! I personally think you should do it from the girls point of view, and make the chapters a little longer
